Hear the breathless virtuosity, probing intelligence, and soulful expressivity of Evgeny Kissin in music from four countries that spans two centuries. One of the legendary Chopin interpreters, Kissin performs works that showcase the Polish master’s lyricism and fire. Chopin also explored new harmonic territory. Similarly, Berg, Khrennikov, and Gershwin—the latter with additional dashes of jazz and Brazilian rhythms—each broke new ground in their own fascinating ways.
