Cla Blue Back Mitten Run 5K

About the Event

This festive family 5K tradition welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to celebrate the season as a community in the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run. The 3.1-mile road race winds through West Hartford’s decorated neighborhoods and past festive shop windows.

5K participants earn a holiday inspired mittens and enjoy delicious holiday cookies post-race in Blue Back Square. Register early (by October 13) and receive a personalized race bib with your name!

Bring the kids to participate in the HMF FitKids run – a ½ mile or one mile dash to Blue Back Square.

Give Back: In the spirit of holiday season giving, collections will be taken for NEW winter hats, gloves, and mittens to benefit neighbors in need. Donations of cash/checks will also be taken to support the Town That Cares Fund.

5K: 10:30 AM

POST RACE PARTY:

10:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Blue Back Square Gazebo, Isham Road, West Hartford

Celebrate your amazing accomplishments together with music, delicious cookies, and Grab & Go snacks featuring Bakery On Main.

11:30 AM: Award Ceremony
