About the Event

Disney's beloved modern classic Beauty and the Beast was the first animated feature film in the history of the Oscars nominated for Best Picture. The story follows spirited, headstrong village girl Belle, who enters the castle of a prince who has fallen under the spell of a wicked enchantress – who has turned him into the hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. With the help of his enchanted servants, including the matronly Mrs. Potts, Belle begins to draw the cold-hearted Beast out of his isolation.
