The Children's Literature Festival is an annual event that aims to connect people, especially schoolchildren and teens, with the folks behind the books they love.
Attend an author or illustrator presentation with time for book signing at the end. Visit the book sale and support our Festival!
9:00am - 3:00pm: Author Presentations - various locations
Authors and illustrators are scheduled to speak to children in grades 3-10 in 6 sessions (35-40 minutes). Registrants may select authors and/or illustrators they wish to meet by filling out our online registration form, available in early January. Choices will be honored whenever possible.
Please note: scheduling is completed in the order in which registrations are received.
Most presenters will be available to sign books after each presentation. Presenters in our largest venues sometimes pre-sign books for our book sale.
8:00am - 3:30pm: Book Sale
Location: Elliot Student Union Ballroom (Rooms 236, 238, 240)
Lunch - Any time, various locations
Bring your own lunch, or take advantage of campus or local dining options . The Lovinger Gym area will be available for storing and eating lunches.
