This support group is intended to offer support, compassion and understanding to anyone whose life has been impacted by cancer. Those who have been diagnosed, survivors, as well as their family and friends are all welcome. You can expect conversations surrounding similar fears, questions and frustrations that will help break the feeling of isolation. We want to help people recognize their own inner resources for strength, peace and healing. And encourage members to take an active role in their healing process and gain a sense of hope and control. Through the group, members can identify a range of strategies and tools for living with cancer, in addition to making new friendships and having a good laugh.
