Fuego Sonoro will perform at the Norfolk Library. Featuring Jonathan Greene on clarinet, Brian Melick on percussion, Jon Suters on guitar, and special guest Ken Olsen on trombone, these talented jazz musicians play 1950s-era Latin music - bossa novas, Brazilian choros, Caribbean rhumbas and calypsos. The band spices up familiar melodies and rhythms with improvisation to create a fresh, yet still classic sound. From lively and spicy to sweet and nostalgic, this is Brazilian music at its best. Registration is requested, but not required.
