The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation (SDBTF) is a local grassroots non-profit 501C3 dedicated to patients and families by providing essential resources and support. Established in 2002 by Connie Reeves Campbell, who lost her husband Dennis to a brain tumor in 2000. The Foundation is proud to be a source of comfort and hope to the local community.
SDBTF welcomes brain tumor patients, caregivers and their families to reach out to us for assistance. We are here to help you understand the process and the diagnosis of a brain tumor. You are not alone in this journey.
An important part of our services, include monthly support groups, lending a helping hand when you are overwhelmed, and providing financial assistance for monthly expenses. We strive to be available to anyone in San Diego who needs our support.
As the patient or the caregiver, you will find you need to become an expert in managing the details and communication with doctors, pharmacists, insurance companies, employers and others. Each patient’s needs and experiences are different.
