The Baptist Health Louisville Brain Injury Support Group focuses on helping persons with brain injuries, their families and caregivers cope with the emotions, behaviors and other changes associated with brain injuries. By talking with individuals who are having similar experiences, families can receive the guidance they need to care for their loved one. Persons who have a brain injury can learn ways to deal with their anger, loss of self or memory loss.

Healthcare professionals from the Rehabilitation Program at Baptist Health Louisville coordinate the meetings. Psychologists from the program lead the group sessions.

The Brain Injury Support Group is provided free of charge by the Rehabilitation Program at Baptist Health Louisville. It is recognized by the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky. Attendance is open to anyone who has a brain injury and their family members and friends.
