Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a non-scary, kid-friendly Halloween experience! Boo at the Zoo is not a trick-or-treating event.
Find various costume characters lurking about the Zoo and play “Hide and Ghost Seek” and look for the ghosts hidden in the trees along on Historic Hill.
Look hauntingly good as you pose in front of ghosts, pumpkins, Frankenstein or mummies for spooky photos.
Take a spin on the not-so-spooky "Scare-ou-sel,” the Conservation Carousel is draped in cobwebs! (Free)
One, two, three...say cheese! There are 10-foot-tall Halloween statues lurking around Historic Hill, perfect for spooky selfies. These gentle giants include a skeleton, dragon and snake. Also perfect for pictures is our light-up Saint Louis Zoo sign, which will glow in the dark as night falls.
Animals & Attractions
At the Herpetarium, check out the turtles, tortoises, frogs, toads, snakes, lizards and more!
For a little more hocus pocus, check out the Insectarium and see some a variety of creepy, crawling creatures.
Also, be sure to visit Stingrays at Caribbean Cove (Free)
Please note, these are the only animal exhibits open at night during the event.
New this year!
Ride the Zooline Railroad at night ($3.95/members; $4.95 non-members).
Zooline Railroad schedule is subject to change and it may not operate every night of the event.
