Betsie Bay Frozen 5K

We are making our grand return on February 15, 2025. Bundle up and join us as we hit the pavement once again for the invigorating race.

It may be cold, but that's part of the fun! There's nothing like the thrill of running through crisp winter air, surrounded by fellow runners, with the finish line in sight. Whether you're a seasoned runner or joining for the first time, the Betsie Bay Frozen 5K is the perfect way to embrace winter and get moving. 

Known for its frosty conditions and gusts off Lake Michigan-making it's true test for "crazy" winter adventurers. Despite the chilly weathers, the race is a fun and community driven event that welcomes participants of all ages and paces. Proceeds go to benefit Grow Benzie. 

Awards will be given to first place overall and first place in each age category. 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and up
