Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? “Living On,” our Bereavement Support Group, connects you with a local supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here at the West Georgia Hospice of WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.
We recognize the need for bereavement support for any member of our community grieving the loss of a loved one. Our goal is to provide the care and support needed to manage the complex emotions associated with grief in a safe place, where individuals can explore and express their grief in a manner that is comfortable and healing in nature.
Together we learn, share and create ways to adapt to loss and change. Our open Bereavement Support Group is offered to any adults and is free of charge. The format of the group is based upon needs presented by group members attending that day.
Our grief support group provides a safe, private place for people to share their healing journeys with one another.
The Chapel of West Georgia Hospice, and drop-ins are always welcome. In addition, West Georgia Hospice offers a four-week Grief Support Class several times a year. Individual support also is available upon request.
