About the Event
Do you know the basics of playing acoustic guitar? Are you looking to take your strumming skills to the next level? Now's your chance!
Starting Monday, March 4 and continuing through April 8, Jefferson County Library's Arnold Branch will offer Beginning Guitar II from acoustic duo Dusty James and Abalone Pearl. Students should bring their own 6-string acoustic guitar (in working condition) and commit to a total of 6 lessons. A current email address (to receive lesson materials before class) and registration is required.
Students should have completed Beginning Guitar I with Dusty and Pearl or otherwise be able to play basic chords with the left hand and perform basic strumming with the right hand. Ability to tune the guitar is essential. An acoustic guitar in working order and a capo are required. A guitar tuner and music stand are recommended. Instructors will provide additional materials.
