For all you rockin’ blues, brews, and BBQ lovers we have got some of the best, most awarded, BBQ grilling teams and awesome rockin’ blues bands from across the country. Whether you prefer hot and spicy or sweet and tangy, your taste buds will never have it so good, unless of course you have been part of our party before.
The 23nd annual Ribfest is four days of unbelievably delicious, mouth-watering BBQ served up just the way you love it by National Award Winning BBQ teams from across the country. This year’s event starts on Thursday July 30th at 11:30am and ends on Sunday August 2nd at 9:30PM. Each year upwards of 40,000 ribfeasters descend on Headwaters Park in downtown Ft. Wayne where over twenty-five tons of incredible BBQ is consumed during Ft. Wayne’s favorite summer festival. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, rib sandwiches, bbq chicken, and so much more.
It is important to us that this event is family friendly. It’s become a big favorite for families to take Dad on Father’s Day. So many families have been able to enjoy it over the years. It’s family friendly from a financial perspective also with free admission Thursday through Saturday until 5:30 p.m.

Throughout the years BBQ Ribfest has brought to the Summit City some of the finest rockin’ blues/roots music northeast Indiana has ever seen. Join us for the 23rd annual BBQ Ribfest for the biggest and best piggin’ out party of the summer!!! It’s gonna be smokin!!!!!
5:30pm – 7:00pm: Black Cat Moan
Black Cat Moan is a musical crossroad. A collaborative juncture. A brotherhood of four distinctive musicians forging a unique sound from a palette of blues, jazz and their wild child, rock and roll.
7:30pm – 9:00pm: The Mark May Band
Former guitarist and lead vocalist for the Dicky Betts and Great Southern, May plays a fervent guitar and has a strong, likable voice on great songs cut by a band that melted Chicago blues with southern-styled heat.
9:30pm – 11:00pm: Thunderstruck
America’s premier AC/DC tribute band recreates the spirit of the live AC/DC experience throughout the United States.
Line-up is subject to change. entertainment tent is all ages welcome.
Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, no dogs allowed on the festival grounds. No coolers or carry-in beverages
Security reserves the right to search backpacks and other belongings. Chairs are provided, but bring your favorite lawn chair if you like!
