The Bariatric Surgery Support Group is an in-person forum designed to provide education, assistance and support for a healthier lifestyle and behaviors.

Our group is a safe, positive and supportive environment where all patients are welcome before or after surgery. Samantha Eckardt, RD, LDN and Lauren McCabe, MS, RDN, LDN, lead this group.

Discussion within the group is focused around weight management and can include topics such as:

-Stress/emotional eating management
-Skill-building for long-term weight loss
-Social support/pressures
-Goal setting
-Nutrition
-Exercise
