Culinary Tour of the Palouse: Baking with Unexpected Grains & Legumes With Chef Jessica Murray, WSU school of Hospitality Business Management
Jessica Murray creates unique baked goods using unexpected grains and legumes, such as garbanzo beans and lentils harvested from the Palouse. With these ingredients, she crafts decadent desserts like baklava, incorporating both garbanzo beans and lentils, and a rich molten lava cake featuring lentils.
Sit down and savor your culinary creation, perfectly complemented by a selection of local wine, beer, or coffee.
Jessica Murray, a scholarly assistant professor in the School of Hospitality Business Management, holds multiple degrees in hospitality and food science.
