Forget the hills in 2021! Atlanta's Marathon Weekend is moving to Atlanta Motor Speedway with the Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K. Runners and walkers can also participate in the Virtual Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K or the Virtual Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon.

Moving the event to the speedway in Hampton, GA allows for social distancing and a unique running experience. With three distances to choose from, plus a kids race, this full-weekend celebration of running will show participants from near and far why Atlanta is Running City USA. The 5K will be held under the lights of the Atlanta Motor Speedway's NASCAR oval on Saturday night. The half marathon and marathon will be held the next day utilizing the 1.5-mile track, its infield, concourse, miles of service roads and large parking lots. The Atlanta Kids Marathon will be held across both days allowing parents to schedule their children's races in conjunction with their own. For the first time, participants will be able to run the 5K and one of the longer races the following day!

Schedule:

5:30 a.m: Parking lots open
5:45 a.m: Health Screenings begin
6:00 a.m: Number pickup opens
6:45 a.m: Marathon only waves start
6:50 a.m: Marathon only waves continue every five minutes
7:45 a.m: Half Marathon waves begin
7:50 a.m: Half Marathon waves continue every five minutes
11:50 a.m: Start line closes
3:20 p.m: Finish line closes
