Asylum:

The Asylum began life as The Meadview Health Sanctuary in the late 1800’s. Once a cutting edge facility its theories on health fell from social prominence, the facility declined into disuse. It was reincarnated by Dr. Vander to address the issues of mental health.

Tragedy befell Meadview as the Dr., his wife and daughter were killed by a resident. The son, Adrian a medical prodigy was away at school. He vowed to not just provide treatment but find a cure to rationalize his family’s deaths.

The Feoray’s, friends of the family and proprietors of the local hotel, had issues with their son Mortimer. Adrian admitted Mortimer, used him to test his theories and provided not just a treatment, but a “cure”. Short-lived, Mortimer returned to the Hotel and killed everyone!! It became known as the Feoray Incident!

Dr. Vander could not shake the scrutiny fro the incident and once again Meadview fell into disuse. Until it once again was reborn, this time with the help of an unknown government agency!

Under the guise of a mental health facility there have been unknown activities at the Asylum. Rumors abound, everything from genetic enhancing to viral testing. To appease local concerns the Asylum is allowing visitors to view the facility.

But all is not well on this tour as we are experiencing some unknown electrical issues at the facility!  Hopefully all is safe and everything remains contained…. we hope!

Hotel Fear:

The Feoray family emigrated from Europe where they owned and operated an inn. When Jonathon Feoray came to the states as a young man, he brought with him the knowledge and experience of the family business. He worked at several hotels and inns as he traveled across the country…little did he know his travels would end in his own peril.

The family became close the Vander family. Dr. Vander operated Meadview Asylum and the Hotel benefited greatly from people visiting residents of the facility. When the Vander family was killed by a resident the Feoray’s were the first to help and console Adrian who buried himself into his research to find a cure and preventing another family from experiencing his fate.

Issues developed with the grandson Mortimer. His mother and father, Johnathan’s son, mysteriously disappeared! Although Mortimer was implicated, nothing could be proven. As a personal favor, the young Dr. Adrian Vander admitted Mortimer to not just treat, but cure him of this dreaded mental condition!

Adrian made astounding advancements with Mortimer to the point that the Dr. announced that Mortimer was officially cured!  He returned to the Hotel to resume a normal life.  But this too was short-lived!

Mortimer suffered some sort of mental relapse and killed everyone in the Hotel!! Everyone that is except one guest, Adrianne in Room 13! It was not know if that was because of Mortimer’s fear of the number 13 or the name similarity to the Doctor, Adrian! It became known as the Feoray Incident so while the Asylum fell into disuse, the Hotel became known under a new moniker…Hotel FEAR!

In the latest incarnation of the Asylum the facilitate has been taken over by an unknown government agency. While rumors abound about the activities at the Meadview, it becomes good business for the Hotel. Visitors to the facility usually spend a night or two at the Hotel. This business becomes the life blood of the Hotel…or maybe it’s doom… could it once again become….HOTEL FEAR!
