The 29th Arizona International Film Festival, the oldest film celebration in Arizona, will premiere a diverse program of new works representing 18 countries from April 14 through April 25.  Screenings will be online and outdoors at various sites in downtown Tucson.

Film Schedule:

1:00pm: After So Many Days

Jim Hanft & Samantha Yonack
United States, 2020, 87 min.

A raw personal account of Jim and Sam, a singer-songwriter duo, uprooting their lives in an attempt to play one show every day for a year, putting their music, health, career, and first year of marriage to the test.

8:00pm: Being Dead

John Meyers
United States, 2019, 99 min.

Based on the only novel of the esteemed British author Jim Crace to be made into a motion picture, Being Dead is a powerful story of loss, regret, and love's ability to endure. The film stars Linus Roache, Elizabeth Marvel, and Kathryn Erbe and also features a breakout performance by Swedish actor, Emilotte Persson.
