About the Event
Science and Nature Day!
Join us for an exciting day on the farm amidst the beautiful fall foliage.
This fantastic family event will include:
Historical demonstrations such as broom making, and Make and Break Engines
Livestock encounters– sheep shearing, cow judging, and lessons about our fascinating honey bees.
Harvest crafts: grapevine wreaths, pumpkin decorating, rolling beeswax candles – and so much more!
Science and Nature Fun: learn about our weather station; visit our authentically recreated Woodland Indian encampment; look through solar-filtered telescopes; and more!
FREE Activities:
All Day (11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
– Meet our beekeeper
– Demonstrations on broom making, fleece shearing, and Make and Break Engines
– Learn about our Wetland Project and Weather Station
– Take a walk through our Woodland Indian encampment
– Enjoy Old Fashioned Games

Master falconer Brian Bradley from Skyhunters in Flight returns with his spectacular falcons, hawks, & owls to demonstrate their glorious adaptations and hunting skills as they soar and dive over the pastures!
