About the Event

3rd Annual AfroSouth Film Festival

The AfroSouth film festival is a 501(c)(3) organization.  The premier showcase event highlights the contributions and inclusions of the African Diaspora on Southern Culture through the art of filmmaking. Through a cultural homecoming celebration and Industry education, those engaged will enjoy heighten awareness, deeper field connectivity, and acknowledge all to promote, protect, and honor the historically silenced and disenfranchised contributors within the filmmaking industry with diverse cultural relationships as the dominator.

Workshops and Masterclasses in scripting, animation, videography, acting & Young Filmmakers Competition Featuring Attica Locke (Screen writer): Sanford Green ( Marvel Comics animator)
