Join Artistree’s Grange Theatre in its 3rd Annual 2 Days in May Playwriting Festival this time accepting short plays as well as 10-minutes!
The festival will begin with play submissions by local writers, scripts accepted from ages high school to adult. Four scripts will be chosen by a local theatrically experienced panel to be read at the online festival in May 2021; a first and second place and 2 runners-up. The chosen scripts will be read by local actors and professionally and safely filmed in the Grange Theatre. Playwrights may participate in the filming. Show readings will then be streamed online for viewing.

Types of Plays: Short plays up to 30 minutes in length, 2-3 characters preferred. Since the shows will be read, not fully produced, there are no restrictions on setting, costumes, or technical aspects.

Please name your PDF including your last name.
Send scripts to: Ashley Barrow, theatre@artistreevt.org
Please no more than one script per playwright.
Only plays submitted by Vermont and New Hampshire based playwrights will be reviewed. You must live in Vermont or New Hampshire or have grown up in the area. Please include your ties to the area in your email.
