Kiki Smith’s seventh solo exhibition at Krakow Witkin Gallery began as a way to present the artist’s largest editioned print, “Wooden Moon.” With source imagery from a German volume on the moon, woodblocks engraved in China and then printed onto paper and assembled as a magnificent 96 x 147 inch work, “Wooden Moon” welcomes the viewer into a world of Smith’s interpretations.
