We know your caregiving journey can be challenging in all kinds of ways. That’s why AARP Virginia and Insight Memory Care Center are delighted to invite you to our monthly Care Partner Class!
The causes of young-onset, or early-onset dementia are similar to the diseases that usually cause dementia in older people. However, some causes, such as frontotemporal dementia (FTD), are more common in younger people. Dementia in younger people often has different symptoms, even when it’s caused by the same diseases as in older people. Let’s look at some common causes of dementia, and how they can affect younger people.
This class, which is not an AARP event, will be held in person in Fairfax, Virginia, as well as online for virtual viewers. Those attending virtually will be able to ask questions via the chat feature.
