Dr. Murray Low, EdD., FACSM, FAACVPR, MAACVPR
Dr. received his Doctor of Education in Applied Physiology at Columbia University and is a Professor Emeritus at York College/City University of NY. Currently serves as the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Director for The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dept. of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He was the first President of the New York State Association for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation” and more recently, the Connecticut Society for Cardiac Rehabilitation honored him with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine & the American Association for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation. In 2012, AACVPR honored him as one of a very few certified “Master of Cardiac Rehabilitation” in the U. Recently honored by AACVPR with its most prestigious L. Kent Smith Award “to an individual whose significant & unique professional contributions have had a major impact on the delivery of cardiovascular rehabilitation”
