About the Event
AARP Connecticut is collaborating with the CT Department of Aging & Disability Services to present a monthly series aimed at helping professionals at organizations serving a diverse public implement practices fostering digital inclusion. The sessions will be led by Dr. Lauren Tucker, an assistant professor at Southern Connecticut State University with expertise in assistive technology, universal design for learning, and technology implementation. The goal is to promote innovative thinking on how you can facilitate in-person, virtual or hybrid offerings.
This session will focus on how you can learn tools to organize the multi-faceted digital space that can be overwhelming for even the most savvy users.
This also will support those organizations looking to engage more individuals in-person while also serving individuals virtually using a hybrid option to increase their social integration. Great session for senior center, library and community center programming as well as those serving others in their work or as caregivers.
