Clara Barton, Professional Angel explores the life and legacy of Clara Barton through the lens of caregiving, health, and professional service. Drawing from Elizabeth Brown Pryor’s acclaimed biography Clara Barton, Professional Angel (Studies in Health, Illness, and Caregiving), this event examines how Barton reshaped the meaning of care, resilience, and women’s leadership in times of crisis.

Join featured guest speaker Carolyn Ivanoff for an engaging discussion that connects Barton’s historical impact to modern perspectives on caregiving and public health. The program will highlight key insights from the book while inviting reflection on enduring challenges faced by caregivers and health advocates today.
