Enjoy a virtual class with the renowned former principal dancer of Houston Ballet.
About the Event
Join AARP Texas for the second of two virtual sessions with Houston's own Lauren Anderson, a renowned former star of the Houston Ballet. Anderson joined the Houston Ballet in 1983 and made history in 1990 when she became the company’s first African American principal dancer and one of the few African American ballerinas leading a major ballet company worldwide.
This dance session, accompanied by live music, offers participants the chance to improve their strength, flexibility and balance. The class is suitable for all, regardless of previous dance experience. Don’t miss a unique opportunity to dance with Lauren Anderson!
Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
