Join us for an evening with comedian Cristela Alonzo and friends. Cristela will engage and enlighten with stories about her experience growing up as a South Texas Latina. Laughter is great for the mind and learning about the Latino experience is too.

Cristela Alonzo is a stand-up comedian who made TV history in 2014 by becoming the first Latina to create, write and star in a network TV sitcom, entitled “Cristela.” Cristela was also the first Latina to star in a Disney Pixar movie in her role as Cruz Ramirez in “Cars 3.” Cristela also served as one of the most popular guest hosts on ABC’s “The View” and has a one-hour stand-up special (“Lower Classy”) currently streaming on Netflix. Aside from comedy, Cristela focuses on advocacy, working with organizations including Special Olympics Texas, People for the United Way and Define American.
