The event begins with refreshments and connection, followed by a powerful presentation from Jane W. Barton, author of Caregiving for the GENIUS. We’ll also be screening the short documentary Taking Care, which explores the emotional journey of caregiving through the lens of Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen.

About Jane W. Barton
Jane is a nationally recognized speaker, writer, and founder of Cardinal, LLC. She brings deep expertise in aging, serious illness, grief, and caregiving, and offers transformational programs across Colorado in collaboration with AARP Colorado.
At 6:15 PM, we’ll screen the 38-minute documentary Taking Care, following the journey of acclaimed actors and filmmakers Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen as they navigate the complexities and heartbreak of Lauren’s mother’s advancing Alzheimer’s disease. Through humor, heart and an unwavering commitment to change, Taking Care imparts a message of hope, resilience and the profound impact individuals can have when they seek solutions to society’s greatest challenges.
