Republican nominee Delegate Chris Obenshain and Democratic nominee Lily Franklin will share their plans with District 41 voters.
AARP Virginia will be hosting a forum for the candidates for House of Delegates in the 41st District: Republican nominee Delegate Chris Obenshain and Democratic nominee Lily Franklin.
The event will give district residents a chance to hear directly from the candidates about the issues that matter most to you. The forum will not be a debate, and the candidates will be asked questions individually from an AARP Virginia volunteer moderator. Audience members will be able to submit questions in advance to be asked by the moderator.
Both candidates will be asked the same questions, and the order will be determined by a coin flip. Each candidate will be featured for 30-45 minutes. Forum participants and audience members will remain civil, and there will be no back and forth or direct questioning from audience members. The forum will be open to the press.
