We’ll discuss what solo agers can do to prepare for the future.
About the Event
If something happens to you, who will advocate for you? Solo agers are older adults who are making decisions about their future independently and face unique vulnerabilities as they age. Preparing for these challenges is key as many older adults will become solo agers in the future. And while solo aging can be full of joys, early planning is crucial so that your home, finances, health care and social community are set up for aging well. In this class, we will talk about the importance of building a support team for solo agers or anyone who is concerned about needing more support.
This class, not an AARP event, will be held in person in Fairfax, Virginia, as well as online for virtual viewers. Those attending virtually will be able to ask questions via the chat feature.
