November is Family Caregiving Month and Military Family Month. As a family caregiver, you may be responsible for managing and administering lots of medication. If you have medications in your home that are no longer needed or expired, AARP Long Island encourages you to dispose of them safely this November.
AARP Long Island is hosting important events to safely discard unwanted pharmaceuticals during the “Shed-and-Shred” event. Shed The Meds and Shred The Paper. Drive Up – Drop Off – Drive Away!
During this drive-through drop-off event, everyone will have the opportunity to securely dispose of unwanted and/or expired medication, and other pharmaceutical waste.
