Delve into the history of caregiving in the U.S. and the personal stories of caregivers navigating the challenges and joys of this deeply meaningful work.
About the Film
Inspired by executive producer Bradley Cooper's experience caring for his dying father, this documentary is the story of paid and unpaid caregivers navigating the challenges and joys of this deeply meaningful work. Intertwining intimate personal stories with the untold history of caregiving, the documentary reveals the state -- and the stakes -- of care in America today. Caregiving explores systemic issues in the U.S. care system, where between 53 million and 105.6 million adults provide unpaid care to their loved ones, as well as personal experiences of caregivers.
The film is narrated by Uzo Aduba (The Residence) and directed by Chris Durrance.
