AARP New York is proud to present Money Mindset, a bi-weekly series of virtual workshops designed to empower you with practical knowledge and skills for managing your money. From credit and debt to benefits and estate planning, each session will provide actionable insights to help you finesse your financial moves— although you should consult your financial advisor for advice regarding your personal situation.
Long Term Care Planning will feature a discussion of planning for the potential risk of long-term care and how to pay for it: Medicaid eligibility in NYS, both for acute care and community Medicaid, a discussion of LTCI and planning techniques and documents to have in place to provide your loved ones with the resources they need to manage your care.
