The Lucky Peak Nursery is part of the Boise National Forest. Since 1959, the Lucky Peak Nursery has operated as a farm and seed storage for native trees and shrubs that are used to replant the National Forests where needed in Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, and New Mexico. Come join this class to find out more about how local folks are working hard to sustain, improve, and replenish the National Forests of the West.
Please wear good footwear (no sandals) and clothing appropriate for the weather. Attendees will be walking in and out of heated buildings. Feel free to bring personal water bottles and/or snacks. Parking is plentiful at the nursery, but carpooling is encouraged.
