Feb. 27 - Office of Public Advocate
This month’s speaker from the office of the Public Advocate (OPA) will share with us an overview of their office, their role, how and when to contact them with issues, and current hot topics relating to utilities in Maine. The OPA’s office in Maine is a governor-appointed office and is strictly there to serve to Maine consumers and the public on utility issues. If you have complaints related to utilities in Maine – electricity, internet, telephone, natural gas, or water – you can start with the OPA!
The L/A Coffee Klatsch meets from 8:00 - 10:00 AM at E.Claire and Pastries located at 35 Canal Street (the old DaVinci's Restaurant) in Lewiston. Coffee, tea and goodies are available beginning at 8:00 with the presentation starting at 8:30.
In case of stormy weather, if schools in Lewiston and Auburn are closed, we will cancel the Coffee Klatsch.
