“Las Cartas de Frida” is an intimate and powerful performance inspired by the personal letters of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, reimagined as a sacred space where women reclaim their voices through writing. Through movement, voice, and emotion, each letter becomes an act of healing, bravery, and expression. In the spirit of Día de Muertos, Las Cartas de Frida presents “Calaveras y Corazones” - a space where past and present meet, where pain becomes poetry, and memory takes form. Letters written by women honor the emotional landscapes they navigate: grief, love, rage, resilience, and hope. Guided by the raw intimacy of Frida's own words, this is more than a performance - it is a collective ritual and an altar of reflection, resistance, and rebirth.
