Join AARP in Houston for a guided introduction to meditation and the benefits it offers. This practice dates back to around BCE (Before Common Era). It is used to strengthen the mind, body and relieve stress. Meditation can contribute to emotional and physical well-being.
Addition information: Wear comfortable clothes, and no strong scents (perfumes, oils, lotions, etc.) Chairs with be provided, but feel free to bring mats or cushions if you would rather sit on the floor. A journal is also recommended, but not necessary.
