About the Event
Join us for an interactive workshop at Reno Food Systems (RFS), where you'll learn full of tips and tricks on how to plant garlic in our High Desert climate. Participants will not only walk away with their own garlic bulbs to plant in their own space but they will also have all the information one needs to utilize best practices for growing garlic in our region!
About Reno Food Systems:
Started in 2017, RFS is a 5-acre, nonprofit urban farm whose flagship project, Park Farm, is home to a heritage orchard, food forest, farm animals and a dynamic production farm. They grow 100-plus types of vegetables, herbs, fruits and cut flowers that are sold to the public at their farm stand. RFS also host many volunteers that help them harvest and distribute free produce to the community.
