About the Event
Caring for a loved one with a neurodegenerative disease can be a challenging journey, and AARP Virginia and Insight Memory Care Center are here to support you. In this Care Partner Training class hosted by IMCC, we’ll hear from Inova Hospital’s Dr. Annie Yang, who specializes in the diagnosis and management of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), especially when they occur together.
This program aims to provide comprehensive information, including on the complexities of guardianship, to help you navigate compassionately through this difficult time. The class will be held in person in Fairfax, Virginia, as well as online. Those attending virtually will be able to ask questions via the chat feature.
