About the Event
Whether for you or a loved one, planning for today or in the future, this presentation will provide practical tips, best practices and guidance on this important decision.
Speakers will include Dr. Vicki Schmall, professor emeritus of Oregon State University, primary author of “The Caregiver Help book: Powerful Tools for Caregiving” and a family caregiver; Fred Steele, Oregon long-term care ombudsman, and Lori Stanton, southern regional manager and DEI pillar lead from the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington chapter. The discussion will be moderated by Yvonne Smith, a licensed clinical social worker on the full-time faculty at Clackamas Community College in the Human Services and Gerontology Programs.
