Our series of "Connected in Caregiving" workshops will offer those facing the challenges of being a caregiver guidance, resources and a sense of community.
About the Event
You're invited to attend AARP Tennessee's virtual "Connected in Caregiving" workshop series this November in honor of National Family Caregivers Month. Join us for four expert-led sessions designed to provide strategies, support and community to the many caregivers keeping watch over our heroes, our memory keepers and our future leaders. They range from adult children and spouses coping with the challenges of dementia to grandparents raising their grandchildren.
In this 4th and final session, in the Tennessee Caregiving series, we will feature a documentary highlighting the experiences of grandparents raising grandchildren. The documentary will be provided by Nashville PBS. This documentary was funded by AARP Tennessee. The documentary is 27 minutes and will be followed by a 20-minute panel discussion with a moderator.
