Your family may not be together when disaster strikes, so it’s important to plan ahead for the types of disasters that could affect your area and how family members will contact one another and reconnect if separated.
This discussion will offer guidance on putting together your plan, establishing a meeting place and considering specific needs in your family, such as arrangements for a frail older relative who now lives with you or a pet. You’ll want to update your plan regularly to account for any changes.
