Dear Sirs is a powerful film following Mark Pedri as he retraces his grandfather’s journey through WWII Europe. Told through personal letters, archival footage, and interviews, it offers a moving tribute to service, sacrifice, and generational bonds. Veterans and their families will find it especially meaningful, and the event invites all attendees to reflect on the legacy of service.
The movie screening is FREE, but you must register to attend. Seating is first come, first served. AARP membership is not required.

AARP WI will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (MHVI). Founded and run by veterans, MHVI’s mission is to help homeless and at-risk veterans reach and maintain their highest levels of independence. Here is a list of the most needed items:
--Jelly (in plastic jars or squeeze bottles)
--Ramen noodles
--Noodles (spaghetti, elbow, etc.)
--Cereal
--Shelf Stable Milk
--Canned goods
--Canned meals (soup, chili, ravioli, etc.)
--Hormel meals
--Hygiene products (toothpaste, bars of soap, shampoo, etc.)
