Fight fraud with our shred event on 9/13/2025. Register to reserve your time slot.
AARP Cincinnati continues to help you protect your identity and private documents and prevent fraud by hosting a drive-thru shred event. Register to reserve your time slot and your documents will be shredded on-site, free of charge. You won't even need to leave your car! AARP will be onsite to conduct registration check-in, please bring your registration confirmation to the event. AARP membership is not required.
Email Confirmations & Reminders: After you register you will receive the following emails with the event address and your time slot: An email within minutes after you’ve registered online; A reminder email 24 hours prior to the event; and a final reminder email sent the day of the event.
To ensure that you receive registration confirmation and event reminder emails from our event registration system: Confirm that your email address is accurate when you register. Check your junk mail or quarantined mailboxes for messages from AARP Ohio. Add ohaarp@aarp.org to your safe senders list using your email provider’s process. Visit the AARP Help and Customer Support site at https://help.aarp.org/s/ to let them know you have not received a confirmation or reminder for this event.
Know before you go:
- Bring your registration confirmation for onsite check-in.
- Up to 5 boxes or 5 paper bags are accepted.
- Cannot Shred plastic including bags, pre-shredded documents, e-waste, metal, x-rays, and other materials will not be accepted.
- Staples do not need to be removed.
- Shredding trucks will stay on-site for the time scheduled or until they reach capacity.
- Do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your time slot to manage traffic flow and wait time.
