Join the celebration! AARP Vermont is honoring 90 years of Social Security.

About the Event

Ninety years ago, our nation made a promise: to provide hardworking Americans with a foundation for financial security in retirement. Since then, Social Security has never missed a payment, delivering the money they earned to generations of families across Vermont and the nation.

AARP Vermont would like to invite you to join us, Congresswoman Becca Balint, and State Treasurer Mike Pieciak as we celebrate this milestone and reflect on Social Security’s legacy with cake and conversation.

This event is free and open to everyone, though we kindly ask that you register in advance. Light refreshments will be provided.
