Caregivers, discover how your loved one can benefit from a structured exercise program.
About the Event
Your caregiving journey can be challenging in all kinds of ways. That’s why AARP Virginia and Insight Memory Care Center are delighted to invite you to Care Partner Class: Reducing Falls and Improving Cognition with Exercise.
We’ll discuss how a structured exercise program in a community setting for older sedentary adults is associated with benefits to both physical and cognitive health. Age-related cognitive decline has a profound impact on the daily functioning of older adults and their caregivers. Currently 46.8 million people worldwide are living with dementia. This number will double by 2030 and more than triple by 2050.
This class, which is not an AARP event, will be held in person in Fairfax, Virginia, as well as online for virtual viewers. Those attending virtually will be able to ask questions via the chat feature.
How to Join
You will be given the opportunity to select virtual or in-person attendance when you register here with the Insight Memory Care Center and will receive an email with a link to join the conversation before the event.
