We’ll explore strategies to help a loved one age in place.
About the Event
Have you assumed some responsibility for your parents’ well-being as they’ve aged? Has your spouse been diagnosed with a disease that will require you to aid with daily activities and medical oversight? Do you have a child with special needs? Are you the back-up caregiver for a friend or family member? If any of these situations apply, this eight-part series can help guide and strengthen your role as a caregiver.
In session six, we’ll discuss helping a loved one age in place, including home health care options and modifications to allow for mobility and continued safety at home.
A light dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be followed by a workshop at 6:00 p.m. Respite care for loved ones will be provided during the one-hour workshop.
