Join us for the Community Meeting: Alexandria's Age Friendly Plan! The Alexandria Commission on Aging and the Division of Aging & Adult Services are updating the City's Age Friendly Strategic Plan. This updated plan will be presented to City Council and, once approved, will guide funds and services for Alexandria's older adult population. City planners want to hear from you about the priorities for older adults residing in Alexandria and how to improve city services and policies.
Senior Services of Alexandria is hosting this community engagement meeting to gather your comments on improving City services and policies for older Alexandrians. We invite all interested Alexandrians to join us on January 17, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time at the Nannie Lee Recreation Center Exhibition Hall. This event is free, and light refreshments will be provided.
