In this session of our Taste of India series, we’ll be making Samosas and Tamarind Chutney.
About the Event
Are you looking for meal ideas that are full of flavor while keeping the health and dietary needs of the 50+ in mind? Our Taste of India classes will consider cholesterol and blood sugar levels and fiber needs, and will emphasize whole and plant-based foods that are high in protein, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. This session will provide the recipes, preparation tips and cooking techniques for Samosas and Tamarind Chutney, as well as a discussion of the Indian spices used. There will be time to ask your questions. If you like, you can download a pdf of ingredients to have on hand.
How to Join
You will need to register separately for each class you are interested in attending. Please note that you must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events.
